Fire ants migrating up from Mexico have decimated many native Texas species including the Quail and the Horned Toad.  These dangerous stinging creatures attack in swarms.  The good news is that they are very easy to control.  We recommend a one-time annual treatment of Top Choice™ in January or February for optimal control of fire ants. Children and pets tend to be the most victimized by these pests.  This highly effective product takes up to six weeks to  bind with the soil to become effective.  Top Choice when applied at this time  provides up to one year of fire ant control.
